What this is
The SCRAP Yard (“the platform”) is a community for surfacing and overcoming organizational impediments — the Structures, Cultures, Rules, Assumptions, and Processes that no longer serve organizations. It is operated by OrgSCRAP / Adaptivity. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms.
Your account
You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Do not share your login or access the accounts of others. You must be at least 16 years old to use the platform. If you sign in with LinkedIn, you authorize us to receive your name and email from LinkedIn for the purpose of verifying your professional identity.
Your content
You own the content you submit. By posting a sighting, comment, or other content, you grant OrgSCRAP a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display and distribute that content on the platform. You represent that your content does not violate any law and does not infringe any third party's rights. If you delete your account, your content remains on the platform in fully anonymized form — the link between you and your posts is permanently removed.
What you agree not to do
You agree not to: post content targeting specific individuals rather than organizational systems; share confidential, proprietary, or legally protected information; use the platform to harass, threaten, or harm others; attempt to de-anonymize other users; use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or abuse the platform; impersonate any person or organization; or use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
Moderation and enforcement
We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms or our Community Guidelines, and to suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate them. We will generally try to resolve issues rather than remove accounts, but reserve the right to act immediately when necessary for the safety or integrity of the community.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The platform is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee continuous availability, error-free operation, or that all content on the platform is accurate. To the maximum extent permitted by law, OrgSCRAP is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Your use of the platform is at your own risk.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the platform before the changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
